ELITE PUBLIC SCHOOL(H.S), an English Medium Co-educational Institution was established by a Govt. registered Society named Galaxy Educational & Social Welfare Society in 2010 at Mogra, as there was no English Medium School within a radius of about 10km. The students had to travel a long distance for a good school. The members of the Society(GESWS) thought it to be their duty to establish an English Medium Co-educational School for various sections of suburb area. Since then, this school has been imparting education to its pupils through English, as a medium of instruction to the satisfaction of a large number of people. Elite Public School(EPS) has been recognised by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education as a X-class High School w.e.f 01.01.2017 (Memo No.- S/Recog/2017/131 dated 28.07.17 ). The Index No. of the school is G2-191 and by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education as a XII-class Higher Secondary School w.e.f 23.03.2022(memo No. - DS(Aca)SD/SF/0009/RECOG/2022-23 dated 23-03-2022).
